Attendees will learn more about best practices in Mechanical Integrity (MI) so that assets are designed, operated, and maintained according to good engineering practices, applicable codes, standards, specifications and manufacturers' recommendations. In addition, we'll explore why and how MI should be integrated with all relevant external management systems to prevent circumvention of the program.
Integration with Management of Change (MOC) and Asset Performance Management (APM) forms the necessary foundation to ensure effective oversight and build toward Operational Excellence. In order to successfully implement integrated MI, automation is necessary and should include software that can communicate well with existing databases (e.g. Maximo, SAP PM) as well as capture and provide insight into component-level information such as identifying repeat bad actors and non-OEM contributions to reliability issues. Lunch provided.
